If your phone or tablet cannot detect 3uAirPlayer, try the following solutions.
Solution 1: Restart the 3uAirPlayer Service
Open the 3uAirPlayer main interface on your computer and navigate to the network mirroring page for either iOS or Android devices.
In the mirroring method settings, click “Restart Mirroring Service.”
This will restart the screen mirroring service module and ensure that your phone or tablet can properly receive the connection signal sent from the computer.
After the service restarts, search for the device again and try reconnecting.
Solution 2: Make Sure Both Devices Are on the Same Network Segment (Key Check)
If restarting the mirroring service does not solve the problem, check whether the IP address displayed in 3uAirPlayer and the IP address of your phone or tablet are within the same network segment.
Both devices must also be connected to the same router.
Note that sometimes WiFi networks may have the same name but different IP network segments, so the IP address should be used as the final reference.
How to Check the IP Address on Your Phone or Tablet
1. Open Settings on your device.
2. Go to WiFi / WLAN settings.
3. Tap the currently connected WiFi network to view the device’s IP address.
Example
If the IP address shown in 3uAirPlayer is:
X.X.X.156
And the phone or tablet IP address is:
X.X.X.123
This means the two devices are on different network segments, even if they are connected to the same WiFi name. In this case, the devices will not be able to discover each other.
If the devices are not on the same network segment (or not connected to the same router), connect both the phone/tablet and the PC to the same router network.
If you are using a modem (optical modem), make sure the computer’s network cable is plugged into the router instead of the modem, ensuring that both devices are within the same network environment.
Solution 3: Restart the Router
If the above solutions do not work, try restarting your router.
1. Turn off the router power.
2. Wait about 30 seconds.
3. Turn the router back on.
After the router restarts, follow:
●Solution 1 (Restart the mirroring service)
●Solution 2 (Confirm both devices are on the same network segment)
Then try searching for the device again.
