Apple once again is facing the music in China over its glitchy facial recognition feature.

Only days after it was reported a Nanjing woman was refunded after finding her coworker could unlock her new phone's Face ID, a mother is having the same issue.

Except this time, it's her son who can unlock it, Kankan News reported.

The woman noticed the behavior soon after her husband bought her the phone.

"Our son took it and it automatically opened," said her husband surnamed Liu. "My wife asked him if he used her PIN, and he said he didn't know it."

Video shows the mother and son both demonstrating how they could unlock the phone using the Face ID feature.

Liu called Apple's customer service, which told him to perform a factory reset.

"Your wife and son probably look very similar," the employee told Liu, adding the company was still troubleshooting the problem.

This is not Apple Face ID's first mother-Son mix-up, either.

Last month a 10-year-old boy in the US reportedly demonstrated how he could similarly unlock his mother's new iPhone X.
