Meridian is the latest jailbreak to be pushed out into the community for Apple’s 64-bit devices running iOS 10.x. Now meridian public bate 4 has been released with some updates. This tutorial is mainly introducing how to fix Cydia crashing on iOS 10.3.3 jailbreak with Meridian.

After you jailbreak your iOS device with Meridian, you may find that there is no Cydia icon on the iDevice or Cydia crashes when you run it. If you meet the problems above, please use the latest meridian public bate 4 ipa file and try again.

If the Cydia app not show up after you jailbreak with Meridian, then you may try the method below:

Preparations:

A Windows PC or A Mac

A USB Cable

Make sure your iOS Device and computer are connected to the same Wifi network

Download PieTTY

Step1: Jailbreak your iOS devices with Meridian, you’ll see Done.

Step2: Check your iPhone’s IP Address in Settings -> Wi-Fi, please remember it, you need to use it later.

Step3: launch CMD or Command Prompt on your Windows PC, then enter ping 192.168.xxx.xxx to check if your iOS device could be connected to this PC. 

Step4: Unzip and run PieTTY, then enter the following info: 

Name or IP Address: enter your iOS device's IP Address. 

Port: 2222. And click OK. 

Step5: After connecting iOS device, you need to log in. Please enter the following info. 

Login as: root  

root@192.168.xxx.xxx’s password：alpine 

Then continue to enter the command below: 

cd / 

uicache 

killall -9 SpringBoard 

If your problem persists, then you need to wait for next update.

If you use Mac, open Terminal, then enter the following command and press Enter.

ssh root@IP(address)-p 2222

Login: root

Password: alpine
