3uTools: How to Enter DFU Mode and Recovery Mode

Recently, many Apple users have asked how to enter DFU (Device Firmware Update) mode and Recovery mode on their iPhone.
If you have never used these advanced modes before, follow the guide below.
You can complete it in about 3 minutes and avoid entering the wrong mode.
1. Keep the device powered on or in Recovery mode, then connect it to the computer using a USB cable.
2. Press and hold the Home button, then press and hold the Side button (or Top button).
3. When the screen turns black, continue holding both buttons for 4 seconds, then release the Side button (or Top button).
4. Continue holding the Home button until the software detects DFU mode, then release it.
Note: iPad Air (3rd generation) and iPad mini (5th generation) use this method.
1. Keep the device powered on or in Recovery mode, then connect it to the computer.
2. Press and hold the Volume Down, then press and hold the Side button.
3. When the screen turns black, continue holding both buttons for about 4 seconds, then release the Side button.
4. Keep holding the Volume Down until the software detects DFU mode, then release it.

2. Quickly press and release the Volume Up, then quickly press and release the Volume Down.
3. Press and hold the Side button until the screen turns black.
4. When the screen is off, press and hold the Volume Down for 5 seconds.
5. Release the Side button, but continue holding the Volume Down.
6. When the software detects DFU mode, release the Volume Down.
