The latest 3uTools V9 introduces a new feature called Privacy Mode, designed to help users protect personal photos in sensitive or inconvenient situations — effectively safeguarding personal privacy.

How to Use Privacy Mode

1. When Privacy Mode is enabled, photos will not be displayed in a previewable state and will remain in a protected state.

2. How do I view photos in “Privacy Mode”? Double-click the photo with your left mouse button to view the full-size image.

3. After enabling “Privacy Mode,” the current setting will be saved automatically. The next time you connect to the  3uTools client, the ‘Photos’ feature will default to “Privacy Mode.” You must manually disable “Privacy Mode” to restore full preview functionality.
