Step 1: Check the casting window status
Locate the software window used for casting (such as 3uAirPlayer, etc.) and confirm whether the window is minimized.
If the window is minimized to the taskbar, click it to restore and keep the window in normal display (not minimized) state.
Step 2: Re-verify the OBS preview
Return to the OBS preview interface and check whether the casting window video has resumed normal display.
If it still does not appear, open Window Capture settings in OBS, reselect the casting window (make sure the correct casting program window is selected in the Window dropdown), then click OK.
Step 3: Avoid accidental operations later
During live streaming or recording, do not minimize the casting window.
You may move the casting window to the edge of the screen or another area that does not interfere with operation, and keep it in normal display state to ensure OBS can continuously capture the video.
Explanation
OBS Window Capture relies on the visibility of the target window. If the window is minimized, the system marks it as not visible, which results in no video being captured. Keeping the casting window in normal display state allows OBS to properly read the window’s video data and resolves the no-video issue.
