SAN FRANCISCO -- Police not far from Apple’s headquarters in California are looking for several suspects who robbed one of the tech giant's stores twice in one week. Surveillance video from the San Francisco store shows hooded robbers grabbing every iPhone on display in front, about a couple dozen, before running away. And police say it happened twice – on Nov. 25 and then again on Nov. 29.

In both instances, Apple employees remained calm and didn’t try to intervene, and one worker even shielded a customer to get her out of the way. some Apple stores have added extra security due to crimes like these.

On Reddit, many users point out that Apple not too long ago did away with the anti-theft straps that used to chain devices to the table, but the stolen iPhones are practically worthless because they are locked into a demo mode and are traceable.

The stolen devices will likely be resold to unsuspecting buyers or will be parted out.
