Since the company was founded in 1976, Apple (AAPL)  has made a fair amount of memorable eproducts, most of which are no longer in circulation. However, many of Apple's old products are so rare now that they have become collectibles, with appreciating value. If you are looking to go on a classic Apple shopping spree, here are 8 products that might interest you.

1. Apple Swiss Army Knife

The iPhone is arguably the Swiss army knife of the modern era, with a tool readily available for any given situation. But an iPhone cannot cut open a box, or uncork a bottle of wine. If you want to perform these tasks while still displaying your loyalty to Apple, then the Apple Swiss Army Knife may be just the product for you. It is currently selling on eBay for $139.99.

2. Apple Vintage Wristwatch

Before the Apple Watch, there was this product from AppleWatches, which is a smartwatch only in the sense that it tells time. It does look cool, though, with a leather band and the '90s Apple slogan "Think Different" featured in the center. It is currently selling on eBay for $425.

3. Macintosh 128k

This computer, the first Macintosh Apple ever released, hit the market 33 years ago in 1984. That year was also the namesake for the stunning Super Bowl commercial used to advertise the 128k, in which an unnamed heroine throws an ax at a large screen which is broadcasting Big Brother. The heroine is thought to be Macintosh, breaking the trance of conformity by supplying personal computers to the world. The advertisement received great acclaim and propelled the Macintosh 128k to 70,000 units sold in its first six months, a strong showing for Apple at the time. The product was initially priced at $2,495 per unit, but nostalgic Apple fans can purchase the computer for $699 on eBay.

4. Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh

The Twentieth Anniversary Macintosh (released in 1997 to mark Apple's two-decade birthday) was not a huge seller in its time, but it is well remembered now for its LCD screen and floppy superdrive. The computer also came equipped with a large Bose speaker. It was originally sold for a whopping $7,500 in its day before Apple lowered the price after uninspiring sales. Now, you can buy it for $2,200 on eBay.

5. First-Generation 8GB iPhone

When the iPhone was first released a decade ago, it changed the tech landscape forever. Its stylus-free touchscreen, capacity for music and inclusion of the Safari web browser were all exciting new features at the time, and even at the high launch price of $599 consumers lined up to buy the device. 10 years later, the original iPhone is selling for even more--$4,000 on eBay for a mint condition first-gen iPhone. If that's out of your price range, you can always buy a used model for a much cheaper price, although the screen might be a bit chipped.

6. Mickey's Mac Club Pin

Perhaps the most bizarre item on this list, the Mickey's Mac Club pin, was made for the Macintosh User Group at Walt Disney Studios in the early '90s. However, the pins were almost immediately discontinued, as Disney did not like the corporate crossover. "Mickey's Mac Club" was changed to the generic "The Mac Club," making this pin a rarity. However, it's certainly not a cheap artifact; it can be purchased for $5,000 on eBay.

7. iPod Classic

The iPod Classic line was discontinued in 2014, but a 4th-generation iteration of the popular device is still ready to jam. An unopened 40GB version of the Classic is available on eBay for $9,000. 

8. Apple Sneakers

These stylish kicks are part of a discontinued line of apparel that was produced for Apple employees in the '90s. In other words, the shoes were never available for sale to the public, and only a few pairs currently exist. One of the pairs was recently listed for $15,000 on Heritage Auctions' website, but the price proved to steep--they were not purchased. As far as TheStreet knows, the fine people over at Heritage Auctions still have possession of these shoes, and they could be put up for auction again at a lower price point. Shoes to keep your eyes on--and maybe, someday, keep your feet in.
