Portrait effects will only display when the effect type matches and the camera permission is configured correctly. Follow the steps below to fix the issue.

Step 1: Check the effect type and select a portrait effect

Effects in LIVE Studio are divided into several categories. Only Face Interaction and Portrait Stickers effects (such as pixel sunglasses, animated emojis, or face gift effects) will appear on the camera with portrait tracking.

If you select scene effects or regular stickers, portrait effects will not appear on the camera.

Please switch to an effect labeled “Face” or portrait-related.

Step 2: Configure the camera for face effects

a. Open Message Settings in LIVE Studio (click the settings icon next to Interactive Messages on the right panel).

b. In the Gift Filter section, find Camera for Face Gift Effects, then select the virtual camera from 3uAirPlayer (for example, 3uAirPlayer 1).

c. Send a gift that supports face effects (or manually enable portrait effects). The camera feed will then automatically load the portrait effects, such as pixel sunglasses or animated face stickers.
