Apple released iOS 10.1 to the general public, which is the first major iOS 10 update since it was released about 41 days ago. Apple released five bet as of iOS 10.1 to developers and beta testers before rolling out the final version. And this is the actually the fourth iOS 10 update after iOS 10.0.1, 10.0.2 and 10.0.3. You can install iOS 10.1 by connecting your device to 3uTools or downloading it from Settings →General → Software Update. iOS 10.1 is available for the following devices: iPhone 5 and later, iPad 4th generation and later, iPod touch 6th generation and later.

What Is Included In The Update? 

iOS10 brings new features which you may not be familiar with. But iOS10.1 brings more features these days, especially portrait camera for iPhone7 Plus. The most notable change is a “Portrait” mode being added to the iPhone7 Plus. This feature helps make the most out of the dual cameras built into the new larger-sized iPhone. This photo effect is also known as “bokeh.” But this feature requires proper lighting to ensure the photos look sharp. The “bokeh” feature is in beta so Apple will continue to make improvements based on feedback from users.

There are a few other noteworthy features included in iOS 10.1. Transit directions for Apple Maps in Japan have been added. And sign-based transit navigation including the layouts of all underground structures and walkways that connect large transit stations have been added. Plus there is now transit fare comparisons when you are viewing alternative transit routes to help you optimize your routes.
